The Old Man
There, the old man
Sat on a bench
Beside him was a bag
Of breadcrumbs
He took a handful of it
And threw it on the ground
Pigeons flocked down
To have the taste of it
The man’s eyes,
They seemed gloomy
The sense of loneliness
And bitterness soon
Filled his surroundings
Even when he was gone
Those feelings still haunt
That place
