His Lady

There she was
Laying comfortably
He went down
With all the confidence he had
To impress his lady

He puffed up his chest
And with gusto he sang
She looked at him
In an amazement

Not only did his voice
Touched his lady’s heart
But that twinkle in his eyes
Made her little heart leap

She flapped her wings
To show that
She accepted him

There they both lay
All fluffed up
And cuddling each other
As they are both in love
