Christmas Joy

What do you see on the streets?
The wonderful colours of Christmas!
Red! Green! Gold! Silver!
The hustling and bustling
on the crowded streets
Streets; rooftops; windowpanes
were so white covered with snow...

Lovely time to be together
somewhere warm and cosy
Oh what scrumptious feast
that we're having!
Invite them in! Invite the whole lot in!
Get the beggars in, the homeless!
We're going to feast as one,
no one is to left out
We have enough to share
and go around

What is the meaning of Christmas
when there isn't any sharing?
Everyone is invited to enjoy
the moment to laugh; sing; talk;
listening to adventurous tales
and what more seeing the
expressions on everyone's faces
This is nothing to forget but
something to remember,
that is for sure...

Christmas Is Here!

The last autumn leaf fell,
the first snow flake falls
Children running out
from their houses
with out-stretched arms
looking up into the sky

'It's snowing! It's snowing!',
exclaimed a child
Winter was definitely here
Colder than any misty winds
People still braved the streets,
went from shop to shop
getting gifts for their loved ones

Christmas was coming,
it was the time
for everyone to gather for once
Exchanging of gifts;
A reunion for a feast;
a joy to remember
for not one, but all..

Crackling sound coming
from the fire place
Warm and cosy as everyone
gathered near the brightly lit
Christmas tree and sang carols

Snowing outside with the
laughter of children and adults
that were coming from inside
Christmas wasn't forgotten
by the gifts and such
but it was the moment of being
together and enjoying
each other's company
It is the joy to share with one another
and not to be forgotten in life

Breath taking sceneries in the South
And fascinating historical monuments
Littered these twelve provinces

Off to the countryside
There stood the creation
With four great arms
Moving in a circular direction

Great strong walls standing tall,
What is behind these walls?
Water, it is said to be

In the centre is the tower,
Reaching high for the sky
Ticking its way,
For days and nights

Lands lying low
Beneath sea-level
Farms scattered
All over the lands
Ah, what a beautiful
Place to be in...
That is, 'The Land of Freedom'

He

Any girl walking down
the streets, turning their heads
when a dashing guy
walked pass her

He would smile at any girl
His smile would make her
melt inside and makes her
blush like it was her first love

She looked at him,
His dazzling eyes twinkled
the wind blowing his soft,
shiny brown hair

His lips seemed so
fresh and red
They were so tempting
to kiss, while his nose
it seemed so perfect
She felt like rubbing
hers against his

No girls would dare
to approach this guy
for she was just
too shy to show
that she has
fallen for him

Neither of them know
what to say to each other
but all they could say was,
'Hello'

She waited patiently

She long for his kiss
Time passed.
he hasn't shown himself
and she felt that
she was unwanted by men
Upset, she cried; she took out
a dagger and stabbed herself
Painfully she waited for
death to embrace her.

As I sat on the grassy plains
Through the mist,
I saw a shadowy figure
That was coming towards me

Closer it gets,
I could hear ever sound
of a creak it made

When it was just standing
in front of me,
I looked up and saw
A knight dressed in
a pyjamas

He got down from his
wooden rocking horse
And hold my hand

I had been waiting
On this grassy plains
For my lovely knight
To come to me

And now he is here,
That is what I want.
I got onto his horse
And so did he
We rode off together
To a far away land...

The Horse-Rider

From a far,
on the grassy plain
A young man riding
on a fine white stallion
'Who is that?' I wondered
to myself

Riding along the wind
he smiled and waved
I could not hold back
but to find out
who this man was

I ran to where he was
Suddenly, a cloud of mist came by
and had lost sight of him

I fell onto my knees,
disappointed that
I do not know who this man was
that made me all warm inside

A hand out-stretched
in the mist
I reached out for it
I stood up
and saw his face
The man on his horse,
was you

The day we first met

I can remember her smile
The way she would look at me
That twinkle in her eyes

I miss her so much

In the darkness,
an abandon mansion
on the top of a hill
The eyes that glows,
watches every child's move

From door to door,
they collected their treats
His breath condenses
on the window pane
His black hair covered
his pale-white face

The house was so cold
that no one can
inhabit the place
Long, sharp nails scratches
down on the window pane

Counting the number
of children on the street,
he laughed to himself

The clouds slowly moved
away from the full moon
It was time!
The time to feast
on the innocence...

There she was

There, the old man
